On a recent Thursday evening in June when many local school-age students matriculated from preschool or high school, Standards of Excellence debuted its newest showroom location in the heart of Silicon Valley, in Santa Clara, and with it, a new brand identity: Monark Premium Appliances Co. The launch of the new location was symbolic of the changes taking place within the company, as it introduced it’s new identity as Monark.
The launch of the new showroom coincided with the debut of the new name and logo, all of which was celebrated at a very well-attended party in their new location on Santana Row in Santa Clara. As one who was required to attend one of these graduation ceremonies, I received the full report the next day.
Here are the highlights of an eventful evening:
- Location, location, location—Santana Row is bustling! Monark showcased great judgment to plug into such a key location in the South Bay. Contiguous with retail stores drawing a high-volume of foot traffic, this grand opening proved to be a popular event this night—a great indication of future floor traffic!
- Delivers on details—Appointed perfectly and featuring a gorgeous Sub-Zero and Wolf display close to the entrance, Santa Clara’s new showroom provides the experience of luxury and service that Sub-Zero and Wolf consumers seek.
- SOE becomes Monark—In a metamorphosis of branding, Standards of Excellence merges with Florida Builder Appliances and Westar Kitchen & Bath to debut on this evening of the grand opening event as one brand under the company name of Monark. Combining the strength of the former three subsidiary brands of Sears Holding Corporation into the one, positions Monark Premium Appliances to enhance their ability to service the needs of both trade and consumers who are detailing projects large and small.
