Pumpkin Cheesecake with Chocolate Ganache
We all love a good Pumpkin Pie. It is traditionally one of the star desserts of the Thanksgiving meal, but this year we are putting our twist on cheesecake!
This recipe combines the classic cheesecake textures with the seasonal pumpkin and fall spice flavors. By using the convection steam function in the Wolf Convection Steam Oven, this cheesecake comes out more delicate and creamier than when using a regular dry heat oven. On top of that no water bath is necessary during the cooking process, which makes navigating in and out of the oven a lot safer and easier.
We use gingersnap cookies for the crust as well, giving a distinctly different flavor than that of a traditional graham cracker crust. The gingersnaps compliment the pumpkin, nutmeg, and vanilla wonderfully. Finally, the chocolate ganache atop gives a decadent finish to a truly delicious cheesecake.
